Subsurface aerators provide the same water quality benefits as do the "flashier" fountain models, but are designed for natural and industrial settings where minimal visual disturbance is desired. This category includes the Air Flo, an air-diffusion system for larger water bodies (12 feet or more in depth), with no detectable surface spray.
